His Divine Grace Shrila Bhakti Swarupa Tirtha Maharaja is the Founder Acharya of Gaudiya Vaishnava Association. The Acharya hails from Tamil Nadu part of South India. The Acharya was raised in the ambience of religious orthodoxy and doctrinal purity. From the early childhood, he was introduced to fundamental spiritual concepts and received a trained exposure to various theological expositions of contemporary schools of thoughts as he gradually grew up. He is well conversant with the philosophical nuances of great Indian saints and eminent philosophers. He is a life-long celibate.

Over the last few years he has been invited and interviewed several times by numerous TV channels and radio stations in different countries and in UK by BBC London, BBC Asian Network, MATV, Zee TV, Deepam TV, Bangla Radio, etc., to share his unfathomable knowledge and realizations to explain the wisdom and the essence of the exhaustive Vedic scriptures.
He writes books on the philosophy of Krishna Consciousness and is one of the prominent preachers of Bhakti Yoga proper in the world since the last three decades having the sole aim of promoting peace and harmony by spreading spiritual knowledge. His simple and succinct discourses on a range of spiritual topics have benefited many seekers of true peace and real happiness.
His interactive sessions with students at Dulwich College, Cambridge University, Oxford University, London School of Economics (LSE) in the UK; Maryland University, George Washington University, University of Massachusetts as well as his lecture at Davis & Elkins University in the U.S.A were all received with admirable appreciation.
On the material platform, Shrila Maharaja started his career in Bangalore and because of his enterprising personality later acquired executive positions in internationally reputed organisations in export marketing. This entailed him to travel worldwide.
